SEVEN LAKH GIRLS WILL FREE BICYCLES AFTER ONE AND A HALF YEARS

The free bicycles given by the government to the girl students of class 9th studying in the government schools of the state will now be given after one and a half years.

According to the media, in an order from the Directorate of Education, the District Education Officers have been asked to distribute the bicycles by January 13 and send the progress report to the Directorate.

Let us tell you that the scheme of providing free bicycles to the girl students of class ninth studying in the state is implemented. But cycles were not distributed to girl students for one and a half years. After a long wait, bicycles will now be distributed to about seven lakh girl students this week. In an order from the Directorate of Education, it has been said that distribution of bicycles should be started in the districts where bicycles have been assembled. These cycles will be given to girl students of classes 9th and 10th. Because bicycles were not distributed to the girl students of class IX in the last session. Therefore, this time the girl students of the academic session 2022-23 who are now studying in class 10th will also be given bicycles.

Besides, bicycles will also be distributed to girls studying in class ninth in the current academic session 2023-24. In the last academic session, there were about three and a half lakh girl students of class ninth across the state, who have now come to class ten. Enrollment of girl students in class ninth also is more than three and a half lakh. In this way, bicycles will be distributed to about seven lakh girls across the state.
