FIRST ASSEMBLY SESSION OF BJP GOVERNMENT IN THE
STATE STARTS FROM TODAY

The meetings of the 16th Rajasthan Assembly will
resume today. Recently, the Assembly Speaker and the CM had together called an
all-party meeting.
Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra will address
the session of the Sixteenth Legislative Assembly today i.e. Friday at 11 am.
According to a government statement, Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani, Chief
Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant and Principal
Secretary of the Assembly will welcome Governor Mishra in the Assembly
premises.
The first session of the sixteenth assembly of
Rajasthan will begin again from Friday. Earlier, Assembly Speaker Vasudev
Devnani called an all-party meeting in the Assembly. While presiding over the
all-party meeting, Devnani had said that 'there should be a meaningful
discussion in the House. All members will get a chance to speak. He said that
the responsibility of running the House rests with all the newly elected
members of the Sixteenth Assembly.
Shri Devnani urged all the members to listen to
the Governor's address peacefully. Expressing concern over non-receipt of
answers to the questions, Devnani said, 'Now answers to the questions will be
sought on time. Responsibility of the officers will be fixed for this.
Appealing to all the parties, he said that issues should be raised in the House
with dignity. All members should present their views within decorum in the
House. Do not behave inappropriately.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma had said that 'full efforts should be made to ensure that all the members get a chance to express their views. Members should also try to present their views within the time limit. Congress's Tikaram Julie said that 'the government should take the points presented in the House seriously and must submit answers to the questions before the next session.
